HOW WE GOT OUR NAME
Shortly after Eli was diagnosed and starting his battle against CHD we witnessed God work in miraculous ways.
Eli has multiple CHDs but has never showed a sign or symptom of any of them. He is strong, and we knew that God had provided him with that strength in his battle! We knew we wanted to give back and help the fight against CHD, but had a lot on our hands with Eli’s medical challenges.
After Eli’s first open heart surgery we were praying and the name came to us!
Believe in Your Heart Foundation!
The word “believe” has always been special to us because it has Eli’s name in it! “Believe in Your Heart” is inspired by Romans 10:9 - “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Perfect fit for our foundation! We would not be here if it was not for our Lord and Savior, He has created miracles in our son and many CHD children. We believe. We have heart. We will make a difference in congenital heart defect research!
